Julie Family Care provides private-pay, non-medical companionship and supportive homecare services. Every service is personalized, professional and delivered with genuine respect for the client and their home.
Companion Care
What it means: Meaningful conversation, shared activities, emotional presence and social engagement in the home.
Who may benefit: Older adults living alone, individuals experiencing isolation, or anyone who values a dependable, friendly presence.
What may be included: Conversation and companionship, reading together, light recreational activities, walks, games and emotional support.
Scheduling: Flexible visits arranged around the client's preferences and routine.
Meal Preparation
What it means: Support with simple meal planning, preparation and cleanup based on the client's preferences and dietary needs.
Who may benefit: Clients who have difficulty preparing meals independently or who benefit from encouragement with regular nutrition.
What may be included: Simple meal and snack preparation, light kitchen cleanup, grocery list assistance and hydration reminders.
Scheduling: Available as part of a regular visit or as a dedicated service.
Light Homemaking
What it means: Light household tasks connected to the client's comfort, cleanliness and daily routine.
Who may benefit: Clients who need support maintaining a comfortable, organized home environment.
What may be included: Laundry, linen changes, light tidying, dishes and general household organization.
Note: Julie Family Care provides light homemaking only. Deep cleaning, heavy lifting and structural maintenance are outside our service scope.
Errands & Appointment Accompaniment
What it means: Assistance with grocery trips, essential errands and non-emergency accompaniment based on the service agreement.
Who may benefit: Clients who need transportation support or a trusted companion for outings and appointments.
What may be included: Grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, accompaniment to non-emergency appointments and essential errands as agreed.
Note: All errand and accompaniment services are subject to the client service agreement and Julie's availability.
Respite Support
What it means: Scheduled relief and dependable presence for family caregivers who need a break.
Who may benefit: Family members who provide regular care and need trusted coverage, rest or time away.
What may be included: Companionship and supervision, light homemaking, meal preparation and safety presence during the family caregiver's absence.
Scheduling: Planned in advance based on the family caregiver's schedule and the client's routine.
Safety Supervision
What it means: Non-clinical observation, reminders and supportive presence to promote a safer daily routine.
Who may benefit: Clients who benefit from an attentive presence at home to reduce risk, maintain routines and provide reassurance.
What may be included: General observation and presence, medication reminders (not administration), fall-risk awareness, routine check-ins and reporting concerns to the family or designated contact.
Note: Safety supervision is non-clinical and does not replace medical monitoring or skilled nursing.
Daily Routine Assistance
What it means: Permitted assistance with everyday activities based on Julie's CNA training, the client agreement and applicable professional boundaries.
Who may benefit: Clients who need structured, consistent support with daily activities to maintain independence and comfort at home.
What may be included: Morning and evening routine support, dressing assistance, grooming reminders and other permitted daily activities as outlined in the client service agreement.
Note: All personal care assistance is provided within Julie's CNA scope and the boundaries of the private-pay service agreement. Clinical care, skilled nursing and medical treatment are not included.
